About The showcase
The South Alabama Prospect Showcase at Stanky Field is designed for high school players (grades 9-12) and junior college athletes aiming to advance their baseball skills and gain exposure to collegiate-level coaching. Hosted at the renowned Stanky Field, the showcase provides participants with the opportunity to learn from and showcase their talents not only to the South Alabama baseball coaching staff but also to coaches from various colleges across Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and Mississippi. The event includes a pro-style workout, position-specific instruction, and live gameplay, offering a comprehensive evaluation experience. Registration is limited to the first 100 participants for each session, ensuring personalized attention.
Location
Parking
Attendees are advised to park in the gravel lot along Old Shell Road, adjacent to Stanky Field. Specific parking instructions, including any fees or permits required, will be provided upon registration or can be obtained by contacting the event organizers.
Seating
Spectators are welcome to observe the showcase from the seating areas within Stanky Field. The stadium offers comfortable seating with clear views of the field, ensuring an enjoyable experience for family and friends supporting the participants.
Bathrooms
Restroom facilities are conveniently located within Stanky Field, accessible from the main concourse. These facilities are maintained to ensure cleanliness and are equipped to accommodate all attendees.

- Check-In: Begins 30 minutes prior to the session start time at the gate down the 1st base side of Stanky Field.
- What to Bring: Participants should come prepared with appropriate baseball attire, including cleats, glove, pants, hat, and bat. It's also recommended to bring personal water bottles and any necessary snacks.
- Medical Forms/Waivers: Required forms are available through the registration website and must be completed prior to participation. These may either be completed online electronically or mailed in.
- Meals: Meals are not provided; participants should plan accordingly.
- Accommodations: This is a day event; no overnight accommodations are provided. Out-of-town participants are responsible for securing their own lodging if necessary.
